When determining what size tablecloths you will need, you must consider two things: table size and drop length. For example, if you have a 5ft round table and you want a tablecloth that covers the table and reaches down to the floor, you will need a 120in round tablecloth. However, if you want a tablecloth that only drops 18in down the sides of your 5ft round table (perhaps as part of a layered design), you would need a 96in round tablecloth. Similarly, if you are using cocktail tables, you will need to decide if you want free hanging tablecloths that touch the floor, or if you would prefer tablecloths gathered around the sides of the table that trail onto the floor.
