Tent Selection Guide
TENT TYPES
POLE TENTS VS FRAME TENTS
We offer two styles of tents, your traditional Pole Tents (canopies), and more formal (High-Peak) Frame Tents. What is the difference?
Pole Tents
Pole Tents must be set up on an all grass or dirt area, or an area where stakes can be placed in the ground. Pole Tents also need more area to install as the ropes and stakes are what keeps these tents up. Pole Tents also have a center pole to help support the tent. You will need an additional 3-5 feet around the tent for installation. A 20x20 Pole Tent needs an area of approximately 28X28 feet to install.
Frame Tents
Frame Tents are free standing and do not need the support of ropes and stakes. They also require a smaller area to install and do not have center poles. Frame Tents can be installed on decks, patios, and driveways, where as pole tents can not.

TENT SIZES
The size of the tent you will need for your event is determined by several factors. Do you want all your guests to be seated, or do you only need room for a standing cocktail party? Will there be a dance floor? A bar or buffet? While every event is different, we can offer some guidelines based on our experience. We have found that the following numbers of guests work well with the following tent sizes:

48-60 guests: 20x30ft Tent
64-80 guests: 20x40ft Tent
